Day -5 (round 2!! 2013)

So I am lying here on my pull out bed beside kerri who is fast asleep and thought I will write a quick blog. All going well so far, had day 2 of chemo today and no sickness or anything so far. Kerri remains in great form, even making daddy a card today. Chemo continues til Tuesday and then Wednesday morning kerri will go to Luke's for radiotherapy the day before transplant. Then I have to go to St James Wednesday afternoon to get sorted for Thursday morning theatre. It's killing me that ill have to leave kerri for 3 nights, am dreading not being with her but daddy will be with her and nana. They have told me they will take 600mls of bone marrow from each hip and then it's brought over to Crumlin and prepared for kerri to get it early afternoon. So we r all set for round 2 and kerri is ready to fight!! As strong as ever xx Xxxxxxxx Anita
