Day + 35

WE ARE HOME!!!!!! I am writing tonight's blog in my bed with the princess beside me! My god, what a day!! We heard this morning we were going home so we had lots of meetings with various people with advice for at home.. Lots of things had to be sorted and I had to do some refresher training on all kerri's tubes etc. myself and paul then got the chat about the meds at home. But all morning we had different people in and out saying goodbye and kerri was dishing out her pressies for all the amazing people that have been involved in getting us to where we are!!! The team came back around 1pm and gave us the go ahead after lots of hugs and tears! Well when we were leaving the whole ward were gathered round cheering and clapping and then kylie gave kerri a huge pressi!!! Kerri being the star she is insisted on wheeling her princess case the whole way to the car!!!! We arrived home to a spotless house& full fridge!!with so many surprises for kerri, the biggest one being her nana mags who flew home this morning!!!! We had balloons and pressies everywhere!!! It's been quite a surreal day!!!! Thank u to everyone who helPed today... And a sincere thanks to all my family & Paul's family for all the support. To our friends and to everyone we know and don't know that are praying constantly for kerri! Please keep it up.. The journey isn't over yet but the biggest mountain has been conquered!!!!!! Now I am gonna sleep til Friday when we are back in clinic.., Thanks sooooooooo much, xxxxxxx :))))))
