Day + 32

Well what a milestone today was. It was quite an emotional day!! We got to bring kerri out for couple of hours. The excitement this morning when kerri realised she was putting clothes on and her infamous peppa pig runners!! Well she then proceeded to skip by the nurses shouting "see u later". We then drove to the memorial gardens where nana & grandad met us!! My dad was only told on the way that he was going to see her!!! Well when kerri saw her grandad she ran to him and gave him a big hug!!! No dry eyes I tell ya!! And then uncle Dayo arrived and again kerri ran to him... More tears!! And then uncle des arrived... Another big run when she spotted him and big hug. But what I really couldn't get over today was kerri's stamina!!!walked for ages.. Up and down all the steps, feeding the ducks and generally running around, can't believe how well the legs are after such a length off them!!!Kerri is now in her bed.. Fell asleep at 730, wrecked!!! Well thanks gang for making today special..... I am sooo tired after today, I tell ya kerri has more stamina than I do, that's for sure! So time for sleep. Xxxxxxx
